Fictional Character Turning Me Away From Jesus
hello all, i'm a evangelical christian and i've been having a real crisis of faith as of the past year or so. one of the atheist kids at my local junior college showed me this devil-worshipper cartoon called "helluva boss" and ever since then, i've developed an unhealthy obsession with a demonic furry character named Loona.

i'm afraid to talk to my youth pastor about it, because it's just so shameful, but she makes my sinful parts tingle and i've started to engage in onanism because of her. i'm really afraid, friends. do you have any advice?

Fast and pray until that desires dies. Keep going depending on how bad you want it to go. Seek God for self deliverance and open up to your Youth Pastor about a character you feel attached to. Don't overshare, let God do the rest.

Modern day Israel isn't the same as the one in the Bible. Popular misconception that morons have.

It's ok anon, I'm into furries too. Go check out Alfa995 and MinisculeTask for their furry drawings. They draw pretty deer girls like Doe who I'm obsessed with.

It's OK to be a Christian fur anon. Why do you think God created animals? In fact, humans and animals were the first things we drew on cave paintings probably.

This is God's will. This is the paradise he spoke of at the end of Revelations. Just remember to read your Bible and take your apple cider vinegar before you go to bed at night. Godspeed.

It's because women are evil irl but fictional hellspawn furry lady nice and soft and caring.
This is a completely normal phenomenon for people raised in evangelical christianity. You just never experienced a woman that was genuine and endearing before. Just don't forget that this woman is fictional... otherwise...

Jesus WAS NOT A RELIGIOUS JEW.

Don't confuse being born in Judea with rabinic Judaism.

Jesus was white, and the only begotten son of God.

The lost tribes of Israel are "native" Europeans.

One example of that is that God said he would take the Israelites to a land of milk and honey. Kind of ironic that 80% of the supposedly Jews are lactose intolerant. God has a very nice sense of humor.

"jews are the chosen people" is a 20th century meme pushed by the schofield bible

Evangelicals don't actually teach masturbating is a sin, you're relying too much on movie tropes from the 80s

Jesus is a fictional character too.
Hes not a very good one, that's why it's easy for another fictional character to outshine him.

Jesus absolutely exists, and he is the only begotten son of God. Every "atheist" knows God exists, they just hate him. Because they love their sins more than they love the truth.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:13–14

The point is most atheists don't have any awareness of YHWH, and he's not that impressive out of all the god characters.

Every atheist has the laws of God engrave in their hearts. Even when they believe or feign to believe in moral relativism, they know that killing is bad, that raping is bad, that stealing is bad, since the day they were born, they knew God existed. They just decided to suppress the truth in unrighteousness till they stopped feeling any sense of guilty because the spirit of God departed from them.

Believe in what you want, when you are raised up from the dead on the second resurrection, it will be too late, and you will receive the destination you so much desire, aka, soul and body destruction, and everlasting darkness.

If you don't care about being the biggest, and can't save anyone, why are you proselytizing?

Belief s irrelevant.

>If you don't care about being the biggest, and can't save anyone, why are you proselytizing?
I am not the one that saves. God is the one that saves. For God is the one that gives people a new spirit, replaces their heart of stone for a heart of flesh, gives them ears to hear, and eyes to see, and no one can come to Jesus unless the father draws them. If you are selected, you still have to come to the knowledge of the truth, thus, I am just a messenger, whether you come to believe or not, does not depend on me.

>Belief s irrelevant.
Faith is relevant, but it's a gift from God.

Belief is a coping mechanism, that's pointless if you don't need to cope.
Anonymous No.33899068 [Report]
>>33899042
Coping is believing humans came out of nothing. Again, if God does not exists just like Santa, why would you waste your time trying to convince others that he doesn't exists? Just do as you say, live your life as if God does not exists.

What else would you have called someone who worshiped God at the time? He literally taught in synagogues and was called "rabbi" by his followers.

>What else would you have called someone who worshiped God at the time?
Jesus IS God.

>He literally taught in synagogues
Saying that Jesus taught at rabbinic Synagogue is anachronistic, the Greek word iσυναγωγή literally means ASSEMBLY, GATHERING, MEETING PLACE. In the time of Jesus (the late Second Temple period, 1st century CE), the synagogue was primarily a local gathering place to read scriptures, pray, study and hold community meetings.

>and was called "rabbi" by his followers.
The word used in the Bible is ῥαββί, and it means master or teacher, it was a honorific; not a formal office, it did not had the same meaning as it has today.

Get your facts straight, calling Jesus a rabbinic Jew is anachronistic because rabbinic Judaism didn’t yet exist in his lifetime; it developed only after the destruction of the Second Temple.
