Am I ugly or uncharismatic?
She said “I don’t think I’m ready for a relationship”.
I feel like this is one of the most common things in the world, and it’s happened to me before, but this time it really stung.
Been talking to this girl (lives in another state) for about 2 months. Having video calls weekly, texting, the whole lot. She says she’s down to meet in person so I go there.
After I get back I ask her if she would be interested in a second meeting. She’s a bit hesitant, I leave it alone for a couple days and then call her and ask her if she’s thought about it any further. She says she’s “confused” and “not sure if she’s ready for a relationship.”
Hits a bit worse than usual because the date actually went well, we had a good time and she was laughing, but seems like I wasn’t enough. She said she enjoyed the date like she was out with a friend but was unsure if she wanted to continue.
I think it’s either my looks or my lack of “rizz”. Maybe I should’ve complimented her more directly (I’m pretty bad coming up with good compliments beyond “You look pretty”, and on the first date idk what else to say) or maybe trying to get more physical touch…
I’m 27M and have little experience with dating, so it might be joever for me
