I’m a high school teacher and have good rapport with a student. I noticed recently he has a bit of a crush on me and so I’ve been avoiding him when I can to avoid awkwardness. But I know I should treat everyone equally. I just wish I’d stop overthinking it.

I've had gfs that were still going to high school and stuff but I always stopped short as getting with someone I work with or will see often
I know the kinds of replies you want here, otherwise you would have posted this somewhere else, but don't, it fucks things up, only bros I know who got cancelled for being with teenagers were the ones that got with someone from their workplace or some other dynamic of power

So long as you make sure you are not in situations where you end up alone with him, you should be ok. If you end up getting something more advanced from him, you do as you should, and just tell him that such a thing is not appropriate and to not say such things.
