Anons I require your advice. I've been dating this girl for a couple of months, and she's sweet, cute loving all the things that make a great gf. But I don't love her, even though I do enjoy her company. Earlier today we agreed that I was going to take a week of no contact with her and figure out if I want to continue the relationship.

There's another girl, a friend of mine, who a couple of days ago made some social media posts alluding to having her heart broken by the boy she likes being in a relationship. She ghosted me at the same time and has since been spiraling, talking about taking drugs, etc. I do like this girl a lot, although we were only friends, never dating and my issues with my gf are unrelated to her. What the fuck do I do? I feel like I'm about to lose my gf and my best friend because I don't love one and the other is jealous, or thought I was leading her on. (to be clear, I am interested in a relationship with the second girl, but I'm not a cheater) I would figure out how I feel about my current gf and break things off with her before I dated the other girl.

I think that I am socially retarded and don't know how to navigate this situation and I would prefer to keep both of these people in my life, if only as friends, if that is possible. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
