I've been a socially inept foid with nearly no friends up until recently (highschool I got bullied, college is mildy better) and I recently made my first male "friend," if you can call it that..
We have a few classes together and I have a huge crush on him. He's really ugly but has 2 girls crushing on him (me included). Yesterday we had a conversation about my 3ds and he asked me if I could mod his old one from when he was a kid, is this progress?
I don't understand the male species in any way; how do I get him to like me back?? I'm ugly and autistic, is it over for me??

Looks are not nearly as important as you think. Personality and demeanor mean a lot. I have a good looking face but I'm fat as fuck, and I can still get laid. I can totally see a girl going after a guy even if they're not wild about the way they look.

Help him mod his 3ds, but don't just do it for him. Teach him how to mod his 3ds. Use it as a bonding experience. Sharing an interest is strong common ground to stand on.

Try not to think of him as a boy, think of him as a person. Guys and girls are still the same species with the same emotions and base desires, despite what 4chan says.

Guys are direct animals. Literally just ask if he'd be up to go somewhere sometime, or even just say you like him. Most don't understand the weird social layering games women have to play, and actually get fed up with them. If he's insistent on saying no regardless of what's happening in his life, then you know to step off and you can move on.
