It can put a wrench into things with how "Us vs Them" politics has gotten. But if you match with someone and have good chemistry you should be able to atleast understand the others viewpoint even if you dont agree.
As long as they are mentally sane and not openly advocating for views thatd put either of you at risk of harm you should be all good ^_^
