I just saw my ex got engaged, we didnt date a super long time(1 year) but it still kind of bothers me.

The dude she got with looks like an OK guy but is a lower social class and makes less money for sure. I am honestly kind of dumbfounded by the whole thing but she was getting old(36 currently) so if she was going to have kids it had to be now.

My dating life after our breakup has been fairly shitty, I had sex since and a couple short term relationships but nothing really sticks. I fucking love my job though which is good I suppose.

Guess money isn't everything for her, and it really shouldn't be. Who cares if he is "lower class". Weird thing to type. Everyone on here whines that they need to make 600.000 dullars a year or no one would even look at them.

The best skill a man can have is the ability to let a women posthaste. They have men in reserve, so it's only fair.

She was always kind of mad about me having a graduate degree and working in an upper class field so I suppose it's not too surprising she went in the opposite direction for her follow up relationship.

Honestly I was always a little bit worried about marrying into a family with significantly less achievement/higher dysfunction but I was serious about her.

In that case maybe you dodged a bullet? My family has never had much and never felt like we needed more. At the same time her way of acting out sounds strange. I'm not mad at others for earning more than me. We all more or less have good options to achieve those things.

What is your plan now? Just keep trying to get something permanent?

I have no real plans but continue to make money and progress in my career, hopefully sculpting a life that more easily attracts the average thot.

I don't think I will every invest too much emotionally in a relationship again though, they are simply too easy to have ended and too hard to replace(as a man anyway).

You seem pretty down to earth. I like the post in general. Just wanting to strike up conversation. Nothing sour about anything typed. Don't act like the guy to get married either. Really hope it works out for ya.

Thanks bro. Maybe all men need to have this experience to not end up in an even shittier situation. My biggest annoyance is dating takes so much time I could be using to make more money or expand my technical background.

Yeah you can tell he's a creep by the way he thinks

Maybe more pragmatic to the point of seeming that way. Don't think he is though. He seem genuine enough.

It's a manipulative LARP and it shows how insecure and pathetic op is

The fact that this is how you define him suggests why you failed with her (and others since). Some people respond to others in terms other than class and money. It is likely that her new man is not just a last-minute sperm donor, but a genuinely nicer guy than you

Not true

I'm worth more in every way and it makes him so insecure that he has to make these larp threads

But no worries, we're almost done with you

I was never a nice guy, but I was a better one in terms of every long term relationship metric.

If you believe having kid with someone who makes marginally more than minimum wage and has has no meaningful career trajectory at 30 is a great idea I don't know what to say. This is an absolutely massive sign your future is going to be fucked up.

>Doctors, Lawyers and Engineers vs service workers some trades, etc.

There's absolutely a class divide there.

Ignore the faggots saying you're wrong for calling out a woman for shacking up with a loser.
Your problems are
>r*ddit spacing
>giving a shit

Go do something with your life, either follow your passion or do what you need to in order to find another woman you actually want and accept that doing either will take years of effort and you need to do it whatever sadsack bullshit thoughts are in your brain mush right now.

While this depends on a lot of factors, trades guys can absolutely make more money than white collar professionals who need post-grad degrees. The real trade off is not ending up blown out physically and thrice divorced at 40.

This is why barring certain circumstances, ignorance is bliss in regards to an ex.
Once they're an ex they are DEAD they DO NOT EXIST.
Do not look them up and try to figure out what's going on in their life, it's gonna fuck you up and hit you right in the ego.
