The retard will be much more receptive and talk about the ideas at the actual level of ideas, aware that s/he can only hold them momentarily and equivocally. The midwit will cite a dozen watered down vulgarized versions of the ideas he heard about on a podcast, and then start talking about how Silicon Valley microdosers with fake teeth are the prophesied Comtean savants, or that true intersectional socialism will be achieved when contemporary musicology acknowledges the virtuosity of drill rap.
