i'm coming to learn my close online friend of 5 years is a sociopath, he is at least respectful of my boundaries and secrets and we're both in our 20's, but he has admitted he doesn't see me as important but 'interesting' and fun to be around, we play vidya daily and talk for hours and i care about him deeply, i draw sketches of him occasionally, he likes the same things as me, his preference in anime girls are also cold-hearted, psychotic, emotionally absent girls, i have cried over this and i feel i'm too overly attached to him emotionally, is it possible to remain friends and what precautions should i take? please help.

He's pathetic blog posting on /adv/, I guarantee he's not interesting enough to pull that. The stupid loser will keep being terminally attached until it gets thrown off and ditched, rightfully so. No fucking self worth or esteem, total emotional wreck at the thought of his crush not reciprocating. Hopefully it'll be soon so he can get a life lesson and move on.

he generally is nice to me, it’s just i asked him if he cares about me last night and he gave a direct ‘no’, and that he tries to stay away from interacting with others as much as he can, granted his version of ‘nice’ are gifting steam items and the occasional compliment
