I had two ever since I was a kid. Now as of 2 years ago I only have 1, and it's all my fault. Basically what happened was that I left them in their pen during a week of back to back storms (they had survived individual storms in the past, but that year was unusually wet due to atmospheric rivers), and one of them didn't make it back to the (admittedly poor) shelter in time. I've taken precautions since then, like building a proper shed with heating, and taking the surviving one inside the house if it's a really bad storm, but nothing will ever bring Speedy back (he's the larger one in pic related). He was exactly like the premise of the OP: a total troublemaker. IDK if his brother (Scooty) would ever forgive me.
IDK where else I can post this since it's still eating me. I still get insane anxiety when the weather forecast shows even the slightest chance of rain.
