Tiki. He's the calmest most gentle cat I've met. very tolerant with handling him, he allows me to do anything I want to him. never bit, never scratched, even when he was under partial anesthesia at the vet. Is wary of strangers unfortunately, he swatted my mom a few times when she tried touching his paws but never scratched. trusts only me and is avoidant of "familiar" strangers, but completely submissive at the vet

Yeah but it's unironically the owner not the breed in this situation. They need to be socialized a lot and they need lots of stimulation so they don't get bored otherwise they will just go crazy. He's my second cattle dog, I had one when I was a teen as well. She's still alive with my parents. She wasn't socialized very well because we lived out in the country so gets kinda aggressive with other random dogs but not people.
