What >>5006698 and >>5006709 say is right but I still feel like there's a truth to the matter of 'animal rescuers' (and almost exclusively women) just doing it to get exotic pets. In 90% of all 'rescue' content some of the animals just end up spending the rest of their lives in a living room surrounded by radios and tv screens, and never get released back into the wild. I get that you have to do something to get views and pull more people in who might give donations as wildlife rehab is expensive as hell but this is just abuse of their position and their own percieved authority on the matter, there's better ways to do this. Especilly when it's they themselves who are almost always the first to complain when 'non-rehabbers' keep wildlife at home 'because that's cruel and illegal'.
