>>4994343 >he had a bad fall Pfft. Sure thing. Thats the government reprograming at work. The actual truth is that he got too close to the nose and saw the truth inside. Inb4 glowies ban me for spilling the beans.
>>4997174 Kek >>4991417 (OP) I used to be obsessed with these big bastards as a kid, my grandma thought it was cute, and now her house is filled with giraffe-related art. Whenever I went to her house, I used to always go to the zoo with her to feed the giraffes.
>>4999086 pretty sure dogs cats and even rats have done this, just not in a controlled laboratory. both my dog and my cat could do this with treats (but only my big dogs could consistently prefer a larger treat to a smaller one and act peeved over a treat being broken in half)
>>5000397 your dog might be stupid. mine will tolerate it but act more stubborn if they only get a half treat and always picks bigger treats over smaller ones.
can your dog do the statistical reasoning test? use kibble and cheese.
The swiss army knife of the animal kingdom >Grabs everything. >Rasp being able to clean branches from leaves. >Crusher / press strong enough against acacia thorns. >Probably able to detect wind (like you lick your finger to know where the wind is blowing), so they don't go the wrong way eating acacia. >Urine test to find out if the female is pregnant, in heat, too young, too old. >Probably more.
>>4999086 I don't think they're over-thinking it They just see that one box looks more "carroty" than the other one, like it looks more like food So that's the box they're interested in They're not thinking in terms of sampling individual items

>>5014524 What can a giraffe actually do though? If you hug its hind legs it can't reach you with its hooves, and its too sluggish to get away while you repeatedly bite it from behind. If you stand to the side of its hind legs then it won't even be able to hit you with a back kick. If it raises its leg to perform a stomp then all you have to do is back off until it finishes its slam, then move back in to continue chomping.
>>5015324 I know this is just the elephant copypasta retooled but I just want to point out giraffe legs are super flexible and it'd have no problem kicking to the side
Did you know that eighty-percent of giraffes are gay. Iโm serious. They mount males more than females, and can be seen sucking metal poles at zoos. Some are known to sit on upright logs (apes do this too).
>>5017407 Some people would say giraffes don't understand the concept of homosexuality. Some others would say everything that humans defined should be applied to animals because we're so top of the food chain, we're the chosen ones and because of le God.
>>5020781 Giraffe, stinky. Okapis belong to the Giraffidae family, of which they and giraffes are the only members. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okapi
