Really? I know they're both drovers, but I thought kelpies were a lot more subdued and closer in temperament to the average herding dog. We don't really have them around here so I wouldn't know.

Is it food guarding if my dog snarls at my puppy when he approaches and pushes him to the ground?

Separate food/water bowls until they are well accustomed. Feed them in the same room, but not necessarily right next to another. If needed, hang out in the room with them while they eat/drink.

Some dogs like plush coated german shepherds and huskies legit smell good. On the other hand even dry coated terriers have a noticeable BO that's not very pleasant.

I think it's like humans. some sweat and smell like cheese just from sitting down (indian). some smell like musky onions but only if they exert themselves (europeans). some stay naturally as dry as humanly possible and dont really smell even if they're sweating profusely (japanese).

I rub my dog in coconut oil and take a big sniffa.
I collect his hair in a bag and open it up every now and then to inhale the aroma.

No matter how well trained an intact male dog is, they're significantly more dangerous than a neutered one.

I can only support this for females, for their health. Spay incontinence is hell especially when the two meds for it either give your dog a heart attack and severe neurosis, or basically undo half the hormonal effects of the spay and cause hair loss, ergo wasting your time, money, and making your dog suffer for no reason
