I've been thinking about this.
Some animals like tigers have a very negligible impact on the environment, while providing a great threat to nearby human settlements and their livestock.
What would we truly lose if we killed all tigers? Sure, they're nice to look at, but being nice to look at is not worth a human life, or the hundreds of thousands of lives claimed by tigers over the last 200 years.
We can make arguments that they could be conserved, but what about just killing them in the wild?
