Give him wet dog food either from a tin or a pouch. Of course your dog doesn't want to eat fucking kibble. I'm not so amazing to my cat that I cook it it's own food, but I give it wet food pouches that are mostly meat and meat gravy. They have dry food (kibble) as something during the day for if they get hungy between meals. Fresh chicken or fish as a treat.

for me, it's the various cuttings and reject meat, grease and broth, throw in some eggs, and sop it all up with stale bread. That's almost always gonna get eaten up.

My grandmother has a dog like that. Little lap dog that acts like a starving street dog that's been fighting for food it's whole life, but won't eat food meant for her. Dry, wet, fresh prepared, doesn't matter. Has to come off of a person's plate, or out of a person's hand.
Mostly because my grandmother can't help but give her little bits of her food when she whines. But she's eighty and just wants something to take care of, and only got the dog because a friend of hers gave it to her for free when her dog had puppies. So I don't hold it against her too much, though I do acknowledge that it's not good for her dog.
