This is survival. Cruelty would be if the frog was torturing something for zero survival benefit with no intention to even eat it. There are a few species capable of true cruelty.

Ive been wondering something recently. One of the most cruel acts of nature that we’re accustomed to is how animals will eat each other alive right? Well what I’m wondering is, do you think the lion eating a gazelle thinks that it tastes good? Because I can’t imagine we would think it does, eating raw organs and stuff. So now imagine the lion also doesn’t think it tastes good, but does it because it has to in order to survive. If that were the case then it’s really just brutal for all parties involved isn’t it?

We're pretty well conditioned to like the things that are good for us as individuals and as a species. It's why we have so many nerve endings on our penis since we'll want to do more of what makes us feel good. Lions probably don't like organs, but salivate at the other raw meat.

Most mammals don't have taste as developed as humans do, not anywhere close. But I kinda wonder how that could be, since the same animals have senses of smell that are thousands upon thousands of times more developed than us, and smell is linked to taste.

How about a sea lion raping a penguin until it’s ALMOST dead, and then start eating it?
That happens >>5009866
All animals have senses that helps them survive
Fly is attracted to the smell of shit, and we are disgusted by it
But then there are faggots and 2 girls 1 cups that don’t have the same response toward shit like the rest of us

There were creatures that ate us but we just exterminated them. Europe is such a chill place precisely because we killed all major predators. Only subdeveloped races like blacks in africa haven't exterminated major animal threats like hippos, tigers and lions.
Like, hippos and crocs live exclusively in water pools. It would be so easy to wipe them out and gain access to water.

I sometimes wonder if there wasn't any other way. Plants don't need to kill to eat but they will still kill to defend or to grow more than their competition, so they still apply the principle of killing to survive. Is there any other way that life could exist?
