For most animals, a big boom (wether it be from a firearm or firework) is interpreted as a thunderstrike, so most dont react at all to the sound beyond momentary curiosity. Its kind of the same with anything loud, like I recall doing chainsaw in the winter and not even 5 min after I had dropped off the log and came back, they were like 6 of them nibbling the buds off the discarded the branches.

But from what others anons said itt, I guess it make sense that bats get fucked by it, as the constant booming must screw up their echolocation.

Quadrupeds probably freak out more because it shakes the ground. Bird just fly away from predators.
