These motherfuckers look so cool. I keep seeing their burrows and scrapes in my yard, but havenโ€™t seen one proper. How do I get them to show up so I can see one?

They're nocturnal and very sneaky, I've only ever seen them at night near roadways.

Like hedgehogs? I've seen plenty in my life, always in the middle of the night, always very sneaky, never heard one make a sound

I saw a whole group of them on a hike once, several big ones and smaller ones. They weren't hard to miss since they were going through the leaves for insects and such.

They live around my house, I only saw one once at about 10pm just after it had been raining.
