Max vs Pickles kots

NORMAL: Joe, Max, Shirly, June, Charlie, Odin, Thor, etc.

WHIMSICAL NONSENSE: Bluey, Pickles, Sparkle, Carmel, Charcoal, Honigkuchenpferd, basically any give stripper's name, etc.

...and what political affiliations do you suppose the ones giving their pets these stupid names identify with?

Have you no sympathy for the torture these poor creatures go through being given demoralizing names?

Nah, but I have sympathy for human children that get weird names.

Who cares if you name your furbaby Minerva or something?

bro the animals don't understand english. you can say whatever you want to a cat or dog and as long as you say it nicely they'll be happy. I call my cat a fat dumbass constantly but he never seems to get mad about it

Of course they understand some words, ESPECIALLY their freaking own names. All of our beloved pets deserve to have dignified names!

Pseuds have hated this self apparent fact for the longest time and didn't start accepting what was self apparent until "the science" said to lmao

It'll be another 100 years before we get pseuds to accept that they're also self aware

>Bluey, Carmel, Charcoal
There's nothing weird about naming a pet after their coloration.
Besides it doesn't really matter since every single pet owner will just refer to their pet by an increasingly convoluted string of nicknames.
And the only time I call my cat by his actual name is when I'm making a vet appointment.
