What assumptions can be made about people who have pets named whimsical nonsense vs normal names?
NORMAL: Joe, Max, Shirly, June, Charlie, Odin, Thor, etc.
WHIMSICAL NONSENSE: Bluey, Pickles, Sparkle, Carmel, Charcoal, Honigkuchenpferd, basically any give stripper's name, etc.
...and what political affiliations do you suppose the ones giving their pets these stupid names identify with?

There's nothing weird about naming a pet after their coloration.
Besides it doesn't really matter since every single pet owner will just refer to their pet by an increasingly convoluted string of nicknames.
And the only time I call my cat by his actual name is when I'm making a vet appointment.
