well I guess evil is usually defined as a complete lack of morals, which animals don't usually have in the first place, so what I'm asking is are there any animals that are intelligent enough to have morals, and still choose to cause harm or pain for no gain (food, safety, claiming territory)?

Good and evil are just how humans (often delusional ones) label advantageous and disadvantageous behavior

Chimps, most Crocodilians, multiple Cats, Orcas, Snapping Turtles, Wasps, Dolphins, Honey badgers, and Cuckooos and pit bulls are some of the most cold blooded, evilest animals out there.

Cats, you feed them, love them, and these creatures scratch you, do not allow you to stroke you, drop things and behave like a bitch. But I still loved my cat.
