This is the single most poorly controlled "study" i have ever seen.
Yet another "meat is bad because fried and heavily salted burgers on white bread buns are" study, that neglects to mention that AD risk is primarily heritable. What's next, another "as little as one hot dog a day could TRIPLE your risk of X cancer from a baseline of 0.001%" study?
Worldwide, meat consumption is the only dietary factor consistently associated with increased lifespan, controlling for all other factors.
Broad studies like the ones you linked are typically constructed and used to push an agenda. The current agenda is that meat consumption can not keep pace with the infinite population growth and infinite economic growth that international central banks require to justify their existence. A healthy and diverse diet incorporating properly cooked meat and WHOLLY EXCLUDING ALL PROCESSED GRAINS AND SUGARS AND ADDED SALT in favor of the complex sugars found in more nutrient rich whole foods is better than anything vegan.
