It's closest modern relative is the rhino & DESU even as a kid that scene didn't make sense, because these numbskulls are bumbling sweethearts, that I just found-out are able to adopt orphaned calves (at least in captivity). Sound is also a massive trigger when it comes to memories & here's a Sumatran rhino singing 24/7, because it's the only way to communicate in the jungle there. I hope this helps fren.

One i like is how in the Australopithecus episode the music starts fully instrumental but as they start behaving more like humans, vocals are added. Absolute fucking kino
