Only if there's a significant size difference. I keep and breed frogs and they will bite each other during feeding but they realize their mistake and spit them out. They're not as stupid as we think they are.

Maybe because we are warm, how far away can toads and frogs detect a heat source? Oh, a while ago, when Australia flooded, spiders was climbing everything to get away and everything included people.
