But, like real situation, out in nature, that cat is gonna get the drop on you if you ain't real fucking lucky. It drops from a tree/rock or bursts from out of nowhere, it could kill you even if you fought it off, like you're thinking. Average human neck is kinda frail against sharp things.

I remember seeing a video somewhere of a guy teasing a big cat behind bars and getting close enough for a single claw to catch the top of his hand and tear it open. Thats just a single claw, if they used them all with teeth AND full rage mode? No chance unless you have a gun. You might have a fighting chance with a spear or knife, maybe.
