So Lolong was captured in the phillipines... world's largest caprice crocodile.

Then it dies because it's kept in shifty 3rd world conditions and given shifty 3rd world care.

Why are filipino so proud of this?

They should have left it alone and maybe it's still be alive.

They do this to every giant crocodile. Lolong wasn’t even responsible for the croc attacks he was suspected of, he just happened to be the biggest croc in the area and got blamed for it

They have it's skeleton on display in a museum as if only being able to keep it alive for 17 months is some kind of national achievement.

I've read online that one of the factors that killed Lolong was his own weight, as crocs need water to support it or else gravity will crush them, kind of like whales.

But you also have to consider that what killed him was a disase, and that croc's inmune is really strong, so how dirty was his habitat?

This place was open since 2008, the problem was leaving Lolong in a low budget zoo, not leaving the thing to the Philipines

It's a crocodile. Reptiles in general will more often than not, get treated like shit.
