The phimosis excuse may be more modern, but either way it's evil to cut and mutilate genitals, and should not be part of any medical practice, ever.
It's especially evil to go out of your way to mutilate someone at an early age, instilling trauma in them just so they will-not and can-not feel pleasure in life.
Whoever came up with that (you know who) is evil beyond compare, and I pray for their salvation after they have taken time to reflect on their deeds in Hell.
