you ever feel like we're in a simulation, or dream?
like, do you ever have such a weird coincidence it makes you wonder?
do you want to hear my... forgive the pun, bat shit crazy story/stories?
>>936488209 (OP)http://xmwallpapers.com/wallpaper/anime/cat%20girls/
>>936489400Well, one that I've not really shared much, so I guess I'll share. A long time ago when I was getting into the occult, before the big weird thing happened, I liked to imagine that I was talking to a god, specifically Enki because what I read tied Lucifer to Enki, and just general mysticism and weirdness. And one night when I got a little too high after smoking weed again last year I was imagining what it was like for ancient Egyptians to look up at the stars wondering if they wondered if they were different stars like ours, and if they wondered about aliens. Right as that happened a star shot across the sky, probably the first time I had seen a shooting star. It came from Orion, and clicked with me that's why it's called Orion: because they look like arrows shooting across the sky. It was fucking weird, and freaked my stoned ass out because I didn't know we were amidst the Orionid meteor shower. But I talked with this "god" imagining them akin to an alien, but I don't remember what happened.
And so I've taken to looking up at the stars during meteor showers. Just a couple nights ago I went out there and "talked" to something again. And something told me to look over to the right. I saw a flash of light in the sky above the lake that was extremely bright, and hung there for a moment before it dimmed, and move across the sky. Naturally I chalk it up to being a helicopter, but it made me wonder, and I snapped a pic of whatever it was because it was weird. Don't know if I want to share it because OPSEC too.
I'll share the next part of the story in a moment, it'll take a minute to type up.
Anyway, I was looking up at them again a couple nights ago and saw one, and thought to myself, "I want to talk with them again." So I dug into the depths of my imaginative mind, and thought about how shooting stars are seen as something to wish upon. This disembodied voice which I like to believe are indeed aliens, asked me what I want after telling me to be patient. So I told them I want a Camaro and talked and thought about it and what I want my tag to say after not being so sure about a vanity plate before. It said it would be good for me, and then it told me to "hold onto your wish," and right as that happened a shooting star went across the sky. Like immediately after. I thought that was cool. Call my batty ass what you want, make the bats in the belfry joke, I don't mind it at all because it makes for cool stories.
Dash, I'm sorry. But you're not the first person to get high and start imagining new religious stuff.
>>936489602Orion The Hunter I mean, you get it

>>936489730Yeah. At this one house I know, he looks like an upside down man freefalling into the trees during the summer months.
>>936489759That is an interesting question.
If I were an atheist, I would probably presume that religion began with sun worshipping. The sun is big, it's majestic, it kills, but you need it to survive. That sounds very deity-like.
I can't account for why there are so many religions out there. I think a universal spirituality which people tap into -- and somehow get the details wrong for -- is more believable than aliens showing up, doing a bunch of impressive stuff, and disappearing for several thousands of years at a time.

>>936489873animism was the first religion 100,000 years ago or so

and with the weird shit that happens when you're deep in thought I can see why people believe in gods and mysticism

I just dreamed of a complete retelling of an old dream I had in like 2009, but everyone was older
it was mostly nonsense and indescribable, but basically I was dreaming about going across the country, going to a furry convention, making friends, and meeting a furry girl again after a fight with her for some reason
we were both amazed that it was each other again after all these years, and she now owned what I think was a motorcycle shop and was seemingly alone
I knew exactly where to look for her because I had been there before
there was more to it than that, but that stuck out to me
but I woke up with my hands by my head like a baby, and my jaw in pain from clenching my teeth, slightly sweating
I don't know if kratom withdrawal caused it or what, but that's the craziest dream I've had in a very long time

what did you dream about?
mine was really weird and almost fever dreamlike
>>936499978I had four dreams last night (that I can remember).
The first and lengthiest dream saw me driving to a NASA training site and hanging out with other people who were going to be going to space. The exterior looked official enough, but the interior looked suspiciously like my grandmother's old house. I doubt if NASA has any blue recliners.
In my second dream, I was a free-floating missile.
I wasn't *on* a missile. I was the missile. (With my magic cat persona's face on the warhead portion of the missile.)
I nope'd out of this dream after about two seconds.

>>936500161that doesn't sound fun
understandable tho
In my third dream, which was inspired by the likes of Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64, I was a man trapped in another world who had magically transformed himself into a cartoon bear to go on a giant collect-a-thon. If I could rack up $1 billion in currency, I could buy my way back to Earth.
I was climbing the exterior of a castle keep, with one of those straps that painters use to fasten me to the tower, but I likewise willed myself to end this dream because I didn't like being a selfish individual who wanted to become a billionaire for personal game. (I don't think the dream would've lasted much longer anyway.)
I retroactively named this character Greedy the Bear.
>>936500179I don't know the difference between types of meditation, I just know they exist
>>936500184interesting
life do be a weird game
In my final dream that I can recall, I was my magic cat self boxing against said greedy magic bear.
When the dream began, I was floating in midair after having been punched out of the ring. The referee was putting a count on me and I only realized where I was at the count of nine. I quickly pulled myself back into the ring and charged back at the bear throwing punches.
I think the rest of the fight was a daydream rather than a dream-dream. Things get kinda fuzzy sometimes. But, anyway, I won the fight.
>>936500232at least you won the fight
those are fun dreams
Technically, I've had dreams now of being a lion, a tiger, and a bear.
<_<
>>936500264have a nice nap
lately i've just been running errands in my dreams...
though i did get a bit of lewd action at the end of last night's errand, so that's nice i guess
I gotta say, I think those dreams solidified my dislike of billionaires.
Here's a guy who is trapped in a parallel world. He just wants to go back home to Earth. And, somehow, he can pay his way back if he becomes a billionaire?
I'm mad at this dude for selfishly hoarding all of those financial resources when it could alleviate so much suffering in the world. And, yet, in real life, billionaires just hoard money for the sake of saying, "My financial dick is bigger than your financial dick." Very seldom do any of them have anything resembling a goal as to *why* they would need that much money.

Ah, yes, animals are moral actors because if we define morality as having emotions that are directed at the well-being of others, animals would reach this criteria. They can't reflect on their supposed moral actions, they don't have a conscience, but why would those things matter for morality.
>>936501036What are the moral implications of cumming into a vagina for the purposes of procreation
>>936501036Speaking of animals as actors, I have an excuse to post this:
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Gkn90Xj0n20
>>936501110I don't even know what this means. An anti-natalist may say that by procreating you are increasing the net amount of suffering in the world. We can take a very short term perspective and say that both of the parties involved are probably feeling pleasure and pleasure is generally good. A society may want people to reproduce because that increases labor, intellectual capital or utility.
i cant philosophy right now
>>936501294What if you birth a child that has implications on the world that decrease suffering?
What if everyone was anti natalist and that resulted in the end of the human race? Is that moral because humans are immoral creatures, or is the ending of a species inherently amoral?
Sorry to bring up my dreams ago, but there's one thing I feel like I need to point out.
What was even the purpose of boxing a greedy individual who wishes to acquire a billion dollars? Like, is a stipulation that, if I win, sizable amounts of his money will be donated to charity? Am I going to beat him into becoming a socialist? (Even I'm not a full-on socialist. I just think there's a point at which you're hoarding too much of the resources if you're content to sit on your wealth.)
Dreams are just kinda odd sometimes. I guess this one was an emotional expression.

>>936501640it's mostly for mood stability and libido, idk how much it really does for breast development
>>936501640Askin' the important questions.
>>936501551If you believe that we should decrease suffering and increase happiness then it would be an empirical matter. Attempting to figure out the future consequences at the point of conception doesn't make much sense, but there's a reason why for example in Island(?) there's approximately a 90%(?) abortion rate for fetuses with down syndrome.
Some militant vegans view humans as corruptors of nature so for them they probably wouldn't mind. Christians view humans as Gods chosen creatures so they would probably care. In general what secular people care about is mental experiences, not something like species.

>>936502331Hmmm, the perfect cock....

My tail has been a point of contention in the dreams in which I am a cat. It's entirely ornamental. In early dreams, it was upturned in a perpetual J shape. (I swear I'm not presenting.) In more recent dreams, it lags behind me in midair.
As cool as it is to be something else in a dream, I lament its lack of functionality. But if I *could* move my tail, I would take these dreams as proof of past lives or other realities.
Either way, I'm pretty messed up by it.
