My tail has been a point of contention in the dreams in which I am a cat. It's entirely ornamental. In early dreams, it was upturned in a perpetual J shape. (I swear I'm not presenting.) In more recent dreams, it lags behind me in midair.
As cool as it is to be something else in a dream, I lament its lack of functionality. But if I *could* move my tail, I would take these dreams as proof of past lives or other realities.
Either way, I'm pretty messed up by it.
