>>937113493>Rarity doesn't create value out of nowhere, it just inflates already existing value. No it doesn't at all, you're conflating supply with demand. Lack of supply doesn't drive up demand at all. Nor does a limited supply alter something's intrinsic value.
>The aforementioned cosplayer feet aren't exceptionalCorrect, far from.
>but they're still cuteThey're completely average, and utterly unremarkable.
And there aren't many good photos of them, and the photos that there are aren't amazing. That creates mystique and investment. You want to find more, better quality photos of her feet. The fact that there aren't plenty of high resolution photos of her feet makes you pay extra attention to them when you otherwise might not give them a second thought.
See my first point that highlights your confusion. Popularity also doesn't alter something's value or quality. A musician doesn't get worse because they get more listeners.
The comment is about her feet, not the surrounding, unwarranted 'mistique.'
My favourite feet are of someone who posts her feet knowingly, and tastefully. I'm obsessed.
Cut the psuedo interlect bullshit. Just saying words doesn't get you very far.
Autists like you should be encouraged to talk less and listen more, rather than normalising it so as to ruin shares spaces for those of us who aren't autistic.
