I follow Dr. Ellie Phillip's Complete Mouth Care System and she doesn't advise flossing. I've been on it for 4 months and the calculus that had already super developed on my teeth have been chipping and cracking off. It's not all off completely, but it's just absolutely bizarre having calculus come off on it's own without a dental scaler stuck in my mouth.

A lot depends on how tight are your teeth.

My teeth are very tight together its really a pain in the ass to get a floss there so I do it maybe every third day.

Use Arm & Hammer baking soda whitening toothpaste; that stuff fucking works and feels fantastic - just don't brush hard as it's abrasive.

Yeah, twice a week. Learned my lesson, I used to never floss and when I was like 26 and went to the dentist I had some issues in my teeth and cavities cause of it. Brushed my teeth multiple times a day and mouth wash and still do. But food gets caught deep between your teeth and just sits there and rots. Fucks your teeth up and gums, flossing is good. Check em

On average, bout 6 times a week. Every monday-friday when I'm at work but sometimes I'll get too lazy on the weekends. If I don't on Saturday, I make it a point to on Sunday.

Even if you don't floss, at least keep some floss around to remove pieces of food that can physically hurt the gum.
Brushed my teeth once and I suddenly felt pain and the gum was red in a spot. Used some floss and I pulled out some small and hard piece of some seed shell I ate in a salad. Without floss, it would have been so much worse. I'll get a waterpik too.

Now my teeth all hurt all the time. The dentist said they are fine and there is nothing visibly wrong but I'm not sure. He said it might be from grinding during the night or gum related(its especially bad after getting drunk)
