Each and every pixel art, lovingly handcrafted by humans, has more SOVL than 100,000 AI-generated trash pics

Hey there! I'm a 21-year-old adventurous girl from the US, with a playful side that's just waiting to explore. I love the thrill of teasing and taking charge during those spicy late-night chats. There's something so exciting about pushing boundaries and seeing just how far we can go, especially when the vibe is right. I totally get that meeting up in person can be a bit daunting, which is why I'm all about fun chats from the comfort of home. If you're ready to dive into some fun, hit me up on my app: h a r-peru-j-a v (remember to remove the spaces and dashes to find me)! Can't wait to see what we can create together!

Most of these are on Wallpaper Engine too if you want them as animated wallpapers on your desktop. Some even change their lighting through the day or react to music thats playing.

A lot of these where only the water is moving are from the panicle days of DOS and were done under extreme limitations.
What youre seeing is a technique i dont know the name of, but its done by manipulating the memory directly and shifting specific pixels on the screen trough a pre-determined sequence of colors.
Its essentially a static image with pointer programing shenanigans.
A gif before there was gifs - and ran on toasters that had no business displaying such beauty at such resolution or fluidity at the time.

Yep.
Now modern devs struggle to make plain text load on a white screen without it using 30gb of memory.

Didn’t know that. I do know that in hacking/phreak culture there was a lot of pride taken in the logos and splash screens, especially the more complicated it was. Like that seems like something they would have done

I hate this shit too, why have a page that's fast loading and a small file size when you can make it 1000 times bigger with a hundred different elements that are invisible, and make the page jump around the screen while it loads.

Worst part is a lot of websites like Youtube, Facebook, Instagram etc when they detect that you're running an adblocker they purposefully lag the shit out of their website, increasing load times and forcing you to refresh the page a couple of times to get it to load properly.

My modern powerful gaming rig with an ad blocker struggles to load 1 tab of Youtube like my old 1.6ghz single core netbook from 2007 with no graphics card used to.
You turn the ad blocker off and their sites suddenly work like normal again.
