I want to talk to her as a friend, but every time I intent to do something with my life, she goes on and on about how "that's god's plan for you!" which is uber retarded because it implies I have no control over my own life. I haven't been to church in 15 years but the dumbass boomers in my family think I'm a devoted Catholic. I might write a letter to the local Bishop politely asking to formally leave the church.
How come every time I want to do something with my life it has to be part of god's plan? Like, when do I get to be in charge of my own life? Obviously I can't *really* tell mom what I'm thinking.
