It didn't go anywhere. I have a bad work history. I live in an area without many jobs and quite a few jobs I see online are hours away in my state. I can't move. I almost can't see myself getting a job. Im not bright enough to be self employed.

work is for chumps. unless you're sitting in an air conditioned office somewhere with a steady 9 to 5 that makes more than 100k a year, then you're getting boned (i.e. less than 1% of people are top earners like that).

They offered me the job before I left. It was Sam's club. I lasted 1 month. This was nearly 1 year ago.. Can't believe how the last year has gone. Destroyed my credit score..oh well

I work from home so it was pretty damn easy getting the job. Made my resume look better than it is, pretended I knew what I was talking about during the webcam interview, took a pretty hard test that I used ChatGPT and found the answers screenshotted by someone else on a website, passed and now I sit on my ass browsing /b/ in one tab and working in the other.

It's not a fantastic paying job, but I'm a disabled veteran so it's a nice additional little paycheck. I'm in college too, and the VA pays you for being in college, so three paychecks a month.

That or Walmart. I worked at Walmart for a little bit while I was looking for a better job, just something to make a bit of money until I could find something nicer. In the job interview I asked what qualifications I needed for loss prevention and the guy said "just be breathing and show up on time. We take anyone with a heartbeat nowadays." I chuckled, he chuckled, and I was hired lol
