The only real situation where Comfy excels is pipeline production, when you need to generate huge batches and have the ability to non-destructively change parameters retroactively. E.g. commercial production.

Compared to A1 and its forks it takes exponentially more time to do basic things, more clicks to obtain a result and has less plugin support.

Using parentheses and adding more of them increases the "strength" of the words. The more parentheses a phrase or word has, the more priority it's given in the gen you're making.

If Inko here isn't closing her eyes when I want her to, I'd put (closed eyes), and I'd increase it for more priority should this not work (((closed eyes))).

you can also do this in a much less clumsy way by putting a colon and a number, e.g. (closed eyes:1.5) increases the strength of the prompt by 50%, which is way more than you think

absolutely don't overdo it with this, you can kind of think of it like a volume knob for the AI, if 1.0 (the same as no parenthesis) is a normal loud listening volume level for music, imagine that 1.5 is 50% louder, you can't ignore it, and 2.0 is basically going to make your head explode
typically speaking you'll want to use 1.1-1.3

you can also use values under 1 if you want to deemphasize a prompt, like (dark skin:0.9) if you want a character to have slightly dark skin (doesn't always work well though)

It's not nearly as fast as Forge. Node based logic will always have a place but the choice is more a matter of heuristics than need at the end of the day. At the end of the day you're just changing inputs as tokens on a per-step basis.
Comfy gives you control over these inputs with greater granularity but if you are able to make those step changes by other means (and you easily can in A1 forks) you can obtain virtually the same results using different approaches and it's always much faster and less complex. Comfy is popular because it's a familiar logic node format that anyone coming from any other node based programming system will appreciate. A1's forks are faster, better supported and more accessible but changing inputs per step is a bit esoteric because it can be done with step changes or literal prompt weighting.
In other words, Comfy is for hylics.

The intentions are the point. Are you trying to obtain a logical product? That approach will be very convoluted.
You're taking the medium of inputs over time and manipulating it. Basically this is a 2d medium. If you are inclined to manipulating logical systems like those encountered in human rewards responses and most human-scale physical reality, you will be able to do this. A pneumatic can do this too of course, anyone can. Just as any hylic can have true creative insight; it's just not the norm.

Origami. You fold paper (the 2d medium of inputs over time) in the hopes of creating a final product. If you perform that first fold with the intention of making a crane, you will never be able to make a crane. You are abstracting your decisions to an illogical, non-hierarchical process that is still guided by intention. At the end, you have that higher dimensional form, a 3-dimensional crane, which now has an additional dimension of intent. Inputs over time with intent.
How you obtain that intent or allow pure logic to take over, reducing the creation process to a purely logical process, is dependent on the level and frequency of your connection to creativity.
