Originally I wanted to get into astrophysics research lmao, but I realized that doing another 5 or 6 years of school sounded miserable, with no decent paycheck at the end of it. Not to mention those programs are crazy competitive; everyone I know who has done a PHD has regretted it.
Nowadays I think maybe I'd be more happy doing engineering for a start-up, where I'm not fighting against the weight of a huge organization any time we need to make a decision. But that's risky, and more than likely the company would fold and I'd need to search again.
Or maybe I'd leave engineering altogether and do something where I can help people directly, but the engineering paycheck is too good to walk away from lol.

I don't usually, but sometimes things get escalated to me and by then the customer is usually very upset lol
