defo a gradual thing.
I suppose my first sign was I never thought the idea of being gay was odd in the slightest despite my parents desperately tryna shelter me from it. I think my first sign was when i was 14. had a lot of friends who said they were gay/trans throughout middle school so I heard a lot about how they found out and their "escapades" as they got older. I remember one of my friends was a particularly horny gay and would talk about it frequently. I was spending the night at his house and after talking for a long time he fell asleep. I thought he looked kinda cute sleeping and for whatever reason decided to climb in bed with him. Obviously creepy but I didn't do anything but sleep. he kinda just asked why i was in bed with him the next morning and I realized I had a crush. just sorta opened me up to my sexuality from that point on.

Just someone interesting. I don't even mind that much if we're compatible, just someone who I can say I've never met someone else like before.

My long hair, my big ass, and my voice i guess.

I wish these kinds of threads did better. even /lgbt/ tends to mostly be doomerism which sucks in large doses.

I knew I was bi from like 17 I think, but became increasingly attracted to guys as time went on. Now 10 years later found out I'm trans (bracing myself for hate mail lmao).

Mostly I like guys who are kind and who don't put too much stock in being overly macho. Good cuddles help a lot too.

I never really made distinctions between my male friends and female friends. In public and on TV I would usually see romance only between guys and girls but I sometimes wondered why it couldn't just be with guys as well. But I thought I'd figure it out when I'd grow up. Then when I was 11, we got a gay prime minister and there was quite some talk about it. I know my parents had voted for him, so I went to look up what being gay was and before I knew it I ran up to my mom and said "Ech sinn en Homo mee ech hunn och gär Meedercher!!!" (I'm a homo but I also like girls!!!" and my sister, who was eavesdropping, absolutely lost it and laughed with tears because of the way I worded it.

An open book. I don't like it when you try to date someone and that person doesn't fully tell what they want, how to deal with certain things, etc. I just wanna play with open cards and work towards the best solution instead of keeping secrets. Just trust me, and I won't violate that trust :)

Well, ever since I was a kid I had full access to the internet with zero parental supervision, and every now and then I’d run into gay stuff. But all my life I’ve had girlfriends. I think I realized I was bi when I started catching feelings for a guy I met on Facebook while I still had a girlfriend. Now I’m about to finish college and I can’t stop thinking about the fact that I’ve never actually been in a relationship with another dude, so right now I kinda like guys a bit more than girls.
