I have no issue with the removal of dangerous weapons from the hands of the mentally unstable. The problem I have is removing them before due process has been allowed to play out as has been pointed out by many conservatives.

By all means remove said weapons from the hands of any dangerous and proven to be mentally unstable people. That was never the issue. The issue is removing said weapons before due process is allowed to its conclusio. If you truly believe and can provide sufficent evidence of mental instability then remove the person and not the weapons.
