Okay, then. I'll tell it. It's very brief.

I often dream about being a magic cat. One of his abilities is transformation. Like most dreams focusing on that ability, this one began with me already transformed.

I was in the form of a jellyfish and I had been captured by a group of vampire women in Victorian dress. The first vampire held me in glass jar and passed me to the second vampire. When she reached in to grab me out of the jar, presumably to gloat over her capture, I stung her and the dream abruptly ended.

This trio of vampire women actually appeared in a second dream where they tried to argue that my abilities stemmed from me being a vampire myself.

I corrected to say that I was a werewolf instead. At which point I took on an appearance with gray fur and fangs, but still very much had the same body type as a Garfield or Heathcliff.

I don't normally say this, but I felt quite adorable in that moment. I looked like a vicious Ewok.

As random as the first dream was, I can pinpoint the influences on it.

I went to the opening of Halloween Horror Nights where one of the "scare zones" had a bunch of female vampires. (It figures that the area I spent the least amount of time in would work its way into my dreams.) And the jellyfish comes from the magazine that I was reading on the plane.

I purchased a National Geographic on predatory animals and they had a weird section of several pages focusing on jellyfish.
