not even joking, though... not at all
for example, my wife and I have not modified our usage of electricity, and in fact, we spent the summer trying to minimize the use of the central AC, because during certain seasons, the utility companies automatically jack their rates up for no fucking reason, claiming it's because more people are using AC blah blah blah
So we've been real careful to monitor it, and we actually have an app so we can check the average daily usage, the average daily amount of money we are paying.
and without increasing our electrical usage at all, our rates have TRIPLED In the past year or so
And everyone we talk to tells us they are also paying three times as much as they were only a year or so ago
I mean, damn... I understand cost increases, of course.. of course
But this is just simple highway robbery
and it turns out the reason we are all paying so much more is because of these data centers opening across the state
those data centers are getting special deals, tax breaks and all kinds of rules being bent for them, water usage and all kinds of fucking laws being bent and exceptions being made...
And those local governments have cut deals where they will be rolling in money
meanwhile, the cost is being passed down to the common average consumer like My wife and I
The fact that OP doesn't know how much his utilities cost is the clearest indication of an unemployed adult male, obviously dysfunctional in more ways than just financial failure, and obviously he's like a cancerous tumor attached to his mommy, refusing to look for a job and refusing to participate by helping pitch in with the cost of living
which makes me highly doubt he ever does the dishes or even shower for that matter
