to an extent but morality is based upon what is best for everyone. we don't allow rape because that allows us to get raped etc
most things deemed immoral nowadays is moreso because it's selfish but doesn't hurt anyone

it depends. if you are weak and unable to do right, then yes. if you are strong and capable of doing right, then no.

if you are weak and do right, then you are righteous and virtuous, but you are also vulnerable and at risk of being taken advantage of

If you are moral and upstanding, you're likely to make more allies. If you're Amoral and a bastard, you are likely to make enemies instead.

As with kindness it benefits the majority at the expense of the individual.
It only benefits the individual when reciprocated.
