What is going to happen is that a large number of people are going to stop buying drugs and frivolities then tighten their belt so they can afford food. The only people that seriously need SNAP to survive are disabled and/or otherwise incapable of rioting or protesting. Government needs to intervene in the form of government subsidies for having children and punishes for not having a family (e.g. tax credits for having children, and taxes for remaining without a child). Similarly, they need to start government initiatives centered around pairing up men and women with suitable partners. This should be TOP of the list for Japan right now, before everything else. If there are no Japanese people left there will be no Japan.
