Several reasons. I love seeing everybody's favorite thing on display, shows a lot about people. If Im working I dress up everyday for it. Didn't have to work this year, so I didn't.
I go trick or treating with my niece and nephew and they are usually in a good form.
Discount candy is purchased in bulk the day after. Which is a plus.
Also I watch my favorite movie and have a nice drink. Nightmare before Christmas if your curious. Likely wine, a nice rose maybe.

In Miracle they put Santa on trial and its very sweet. Its a Wonderful Life is about a guy who thinks his life is worthless and he wants to die, then an angel shows him what life would be without him and he no longer wants to die. That one makes me weepy.
