Gaming can make you turn a new leaf tho.
Always tried the anime/moe thing but mike klubnikas games pushed me towards something more surreal. Also for me those two weeks were textbook burnout. Three 10 hour a day back to back sessions will do that.

Also ik that the anatomy in these is absolutely fucked but its sorta what i intended. I only post the ones with sorta ok perspective tho. Even such messy lines cannot hide that. 0 constriction and 0 references, sorta proud desu.
I'll do more stuff in this direction. Really like it for some reason.
Also i literately barely hold the pen during these and i don't zoom and draw small. I only use just enough enough pressure for it to register too. If i were to combine this with actually studying and learning to draw i think it would be decent work at the end.

It did give me a little sense of roundness that heads have but i tuned out when it came to bodies. I have the Michal Hampton book on figures now and i think it will work better. Fun with a pencil at least is too cartoonish to make sense for me.
But study aside, i think i just need to draw more. All the knowledge in the world won't fix a lack of experience.

I just hope that this streak stays. I don't remember being not constantly critical of my stuff and immediately getting demotivated. I think i have something here.

Thanks but not really going for anything specific here. I think once i start with the book I'll have more control or aim. It goes into detail about stuff i can exaggerate instead of just relying on luck for funny results.

Krita. It supports touch gestures and stuff so i just use my 2in1 laptop as a regular tablet on a stand with it. I don't use any features besides some layers and the occasional undo but i know that krita can do some advanced stuff.
The graininess some of my drawings have is due to drawing at low res or zoomed and and at an angle. Then you get this nice aliasing.

Ahh I always hear about Krita, I know a lot of people that swear by it. I’ve heard it’s pretty solid, never tried it out myself though. I gotta say I like what you’re doing with it though anon, very fun and unique style ya got going on there, I’d def read a series with that sorta art in it lol. Laptop set up also sounds pretty nice, I just have a basic Huron plugged into my PC for what I do. The shading style is something I do in Clip Studio with the outline tool, it kinda works like sculpting almost. At least that’s how I use it

Yeah, that’s fair, comics can be kind of a pain in the ass kek. That’s been my plan too, making comics and whatnot but yeah shit can be kind of annoying. It’s a commitment and a half, especially depending on what sorta story you’re trying to do. Strip style stuff honestly seems like the more fun option though all things considered, there’s a consistency to it but it allows you to do things a bit more loosely as well. Definitely would be fun to see what you’d make of that with your style, anon!

a few years in, it reached the point where maps were more based on physical endurance than fast pattern recognition, and i quit after i kept getting tennis elbow
it pissed me off, i used a vive but my friend had a rift CV1, which had much lighter controllers
he was also much taller & had lanky arms

Had to sell them far too soon. Only had like a couple days of playtime.

I had this Dell mixed reality thing which was nice but the issue is that the software it uses is made by microsoft so naturally it stopped working not too soon after i bought it. Sold it on ebay and looks like the googles themselves still work. Turns out that on my end windows shat itself so hard that even resets didn't get it working. Goes without saying but i don't run that OS anymore.

Might be because some people use a vocal register that's too high.
She can technically sing notes that are impossible for humans to sing. I wouldn't go further than the notes a soprano can sing.

I get that sometimes in music. Make there is something in the drawing process that you are doing that you aren't aware that creates problems later on. So it's good to check the work you have done first before you move on to adding new stuff on top since it becomes basically impossible to fix the foundation when working on the stuff that's above it. idk if I'm making sense. I'm not a drawfag I can't really draw at all, but I learned that apperently you sketch, then you make a line drawing then you add details/textures/colours and then after that you have a complete illustration

Usually I make something that sounds great then I dip a bit for some time making stuff that can't reach that level. Then eventually I make something that creates a new peak.
