Yes, do that if its an option. Always far better than black market.
Ritalin is superior to amphetamine anyway because its a dopamine reuptake inhibitor meaning it will basically just increase dopamine concentrations in ur brain by keeping it there (like cocaine does) instead of making ur brain just dump all its dopamine which is what amphetamines do.
This means you wont burn out and run out of dopamine like with speed and also you can take days off without having a massive comedown.
If you end up unable to get ritalin then modafanil works the same way and is less harmful than speed.

Lisdexamfetamine lasts too long IMO ask ur doctor about just regular dexamphetamine.
Alternatively you could try taking 45mg of elvanse by taking one whole capsule and half the powder out of another. Also make sure you take ur elvanse as early in the morning as possible so it has time to wear off before u need to sleep.
**DO NOT** do this with any medication other than lisdexamfetamine (elvanse) however as the controlled release mechanism of elvanse relies on your body breaking it down into dexamphetamine but most other controlled release medications rely on the capsule/casing and some can also be irritants ect if consumed without the cap
