The only thing I use AI for is generating funny pictures and the pictures all suck

I use AI to write quick and dirty powershell scripts for collecting data out of Azure using Microsoft Graph.

I use it to ask about my health issues

not your fault anon
that's the only thing you can really use the consumer shit for
you gotta go mega autist mode & learn about neural networks from scratch, then train your own, like that 2B2T user did

all this shit has been around and easy to use since like 2019
these consumer LLMs are a parlor trick that they're trying to run as long as possible to get money and make people even more retarded/dependent on doordash and isolation
Anonymous (ID: zOg+58BA) United States No.23082269
it's also useful for the advertisers, since LLMs are one step closer to the users thought process than search engines are

It's interesting because personally I lose track of time when generating images or even trying one of those AI chats. It's up on yourself to not be consumed for that kind of "entertainment", but I can tell that it is somehow addictive

yeah
i think it's easy to feel like you're working at NASA or achieving apotheosis or something, even when it's just wasting time
that's how you get some of these schizos who think they discovered some sort of jailbreak or made it sentient or achieved symbiosis, by talking to a pre-trained model
>It's up on yourself to not be consumed for that kind of "entertainment", but I can tell that it is somehow addictive
agreed
it's strange for sure
some forms of "entertainment" can be invasive or consume people, but it's kind of a feat to be able to create new ones which aren't drugs...

neural networks are powerful and useful in their place
it's rewarding learning about them, you can learn to create computer vision programs, mess with algorithmic stock trading/prediction, create really schizophrenic/unpredictable chatbots of your own, etc..

For real, I've seen them a lot. Maybe it's because they find convincing AIs like Grok, like their relationship and chats are treasured by the model. But it isn't, it's just doing what it is meant to do
>but it's kind of a feat to be able to create new ones which aren't drugs...
It's a scary way of evolving. It's not weird to see AI addicted fags who mix the other drugs with it (alcohol, masturbation, porn), it's fucked up, because on the sexual aspect most AIs are pretty versatile
And also, having a cellphone is the norm nowadays, of course. So if people isn't addicted to scrolling or social media, they might be addicted to AI, or at least use it the most part of their free time
