okay i gotta read today because i've got more work tomorrow, i'm probably at the end of this route. i wonder if it's just paranoia induced from what i've heard through the grapevine but i've been pretty scrupulous in going back and rereading scenes because of the intermittently planted important details. my impressions at this point are that it is kamige though, i feel like it would have to begin throwing the ball on purpose to ruin what it's got going so far. it might end up my favourite read this year

I've scraped the internet and I cannot find any more visual novels where you can have a custom mc and date men.
BOO I like men I want to be gay in a faggot ass visual novel.

Our Life was good with all the customization options, though you only get one love interest.
Any recommendations? I've played a lot of itch.io games and text based ones. The main thing I like is character customization, an AU is a bonus

I played an EVN that recently released, but didn't do any homo content. You can choose female OR male MC and female or male main LI. Also can choose what sex the 3 side characters that you have sex with are. Because of that the VN is linear with very constrained plot since it has to fit like 6 different possible ways MC and characters can be.
The main problem with it is that fun dialogue and character banter is fused with a novel-like, dense purple prose narration. And those NVL segments have the most obnoxious, small cursive font and delayed fade in/fade out animations. By the end of it I was so tired my eyes just glazed over when I saw one.
It also only has 3 good H-scenes, all with the main heroine/LI.
6/10, but if you're that desperate you can't be picky.

A VN with little nsfw would be fine with me too, I'm a little bit of a prude sadly, I'd rather read the nsfw stuff, can't watch.
That being said I've come across a lot of text based choice games, those are much easier to have a customizable mc, cause you can't see the character lol.

It's over. Dunno what to read next. Second time this year I enjoyed something out of my "probably never reading" pile, maybe I should also give Sakuuta a chance.

There's some wading to do, but it's kino when SCAji really tries. I didn't like Picapica, but I wasn't that good at Japanese back when I read it, so I give it the benefit of the doubt.
