Can someone explain to me the trend of bathrooms having huge showers but no bathtub? Are baths considered cringe now?

>Are baths considered cringe now?
i think people don't appreciate a nice bath, are more afraid to hear their own thoughts than ever before, and want to larp as not having enough time
it's not hate for baths exactly

Good take. I think there are subtle changes going on because people donโ€™t want to hear their own thoughts and canโ€™t sit still without a distraction

a cause and a symptom of the "you will own nothing and be happy" push
brave new world etc
fuck it

the push causes people to value baths less, which reduces number of baths in bathrooms, which reduces the chance of taking a bath, which makes people care about baths less...

Itโ€™s really a reflection of godlessness

I wish I was the type of person who could enjoy a nice calm bath while reading a good book. Too bad I'm the type who takes quick showers and drinks as much hard liquor as humanly possible

if people don't care about taking baths it's more comfortable to stand on a wider flat surface

you can take long showers as well (I do this). personally I just don't like soaking in my own filth and it's probably the same for many people. I like being able to hold the shower head to wash my ass and women do the same for their cooch. I don't think it's that philosophical or a "reflection of godlessness."

Shower before bath. Bath is for soaking in heat not for clean

those do be advantages of showering
>I don't think it's that philosophical or a "reflection of godlessness."
philosophy is a tool to grapple with things
you can use philosophy or not, it doesn't stop these things from existing/happening

this is separate from the pros/cons of showering and personal preference though, it's two separate things
personal preference "isn't that pilosophical"
i was pointing out some things which may have been schizo
i dunno

Personally, I donโ€™t come here for rational explanations like >>23237459

I haven't taken a bath in probably 15 years. showers are just too convenient and don't get cold over time.
