I'm not moving to anything. I'm just learning some synths because every rock/pop song has synths these days. It's unavoidable. I have made bossa nova, jazz, jpop, rock stuff. Most music producers know how to tap into different genres. Japanese music often switches genre on a section or two.

My power supply sounds like a lawn mower right now. Think I'm going to have to take most of my computer apart to get to the fan and see if something is where its not supposed to be. Its either the fan or I need a whole new power supply. Either way its going to be annoying to fix.

That's pretty unlucky. Hopefully it's just a minor issue. Apperently like 2 % of motherboards that are newly made are defective. and I'm 99 % sure my new motherboard is defective because I get hardware interrupts a lot if my gpu is in a specific PCIe slot. Which I think has some weird defects in it.

It might be best to get some pc guy to deal with it since they have the tools to just figure out what components are fucked and not.

Powersupply faults can be risky since they can fry your components I think, but if you just hear your fan scraping. It's prob not that bad idk. I have only experienced a powersupply fail once and it was because my computer took too much power. It just shut down, but nothing bad happened. They seem pretty safe most of the time.

It's not my guitar cable and I changed the USB cable so it's the audio interface itself. It's making an annoying hissing sine wave noise. I think the insides are fucked and isn't grounded or something. Guess I have to work with synth stuff more until I can get my hands on a new one
