Im pretty convinced that this won't be allowed to happen ever again. Money will be printed/markets will be manipulated ad nauseum to stop any depression/recession from truly taking form.
The entire system will collapse before it lets a second depression happen.

The September call is just obvious
I'm not short but I'm very tech/NASDAQ exposed so this is more of a small hedge if anything.
I think calls on SOXS are easier to profit off vs puts on soxl

Options are not stressful. I will say it again and again, they have defined risk upfront before you enter a position, and they let you go long or short on time, price, and volatility. Yes, you can win or lose (and on leverage), but they let you control exactly how much risk you have at any one time
(P.s. learn to manage your risk and trade a system and treat it like a marathon)

that said, CEO interviews are a nice satisfying source of confirmation bias

you should also have third-party independent sources that validate their products/tech, and for them that's the #1 #3 and #5 largest transits in NA on top of numerous smaller customers

thats just gambling tho, i make more in my wageslave job in a quarter than what HGRAF made in the last 12 months, the downside risk there is quite close to $0 if they cant prove their business model and expectations are already high with where their market cap is
ai dashcams might have been pennyshit for a long time (well ai dashcams is starting to not count as pennyshit anymore) but i only entered because the downside risk was relatively low (shares outstanding only went up like +5% from stock options no dilution in the past 5 years right before the $1.20/share bought deal) while still attaining very high potential upside. I still expect another 2x or 3x from here even if I already basically 4x from the cheapest batch i bought
thats one thing a lot of people seem to forget, you have to balance risk vs reward. And a good company does not necessarily have a good stock if the stock is already priced as if it will cure cancer

what kind of miners because i avoid anything that are purely speculative with basically no revenues
if i dont feel safe putting 5-figs or really 6-figs into it then why am i going to bother with it, it takes too much of my spare time and energy outside of my wageslave job just to monitor 5 companies never mind having to diversify to 50 speculative companies coz i cant risk putting more than 4-figs into each speculative pick

i acknowledge that you can make a lot of money if these miners work out, the same way biotechs do when they actually hit
but i stay away because it's like buying options which ive only done when the risk-reward was very much in my favor (like buying LEAPS on oil when oil stocks were trading well below their book value)
you basically have the equivalent of theta loss on shares because of that endless share dilution
i already feel uneasy about having a small 5-fig position on AMPL because it's diluting (cashburn) and their growth plus eventual switch to profitability better be faster than me getting diluted. I have more faith in CXDO making me money since at least their bottom line is already pretty, though the actual company itself is pretty boring. Also VTSI and at least IDN is sort of barely above breakeven

the general guideline is, if the company is diluting to keep the lights on, u should be sweating
if the company just did a raise when their balance sheet is healthy, i.e. no debt, plenty cash, profitable or at least breakeven while growing rapdily, then yes thats a bullish raise because they needed more capital on top of their healthy balance sheet to get the needed liquidity to fulfill their biggest contract yet
i know what the $1.20/share bought deal my ai dashcams just did when they were trading at 40 cents a couple months prior
im inclined to believe that any company with 0 revenues are diluting to keep the lights on
you can make money you always can but you need to make sure your timing is right coz you can be fked otherwise
meanwhile i was just buying most of my position (had a small starting position since 2020 but didnt start having an actual significant position in 2023 after i was done with faster plays like tsm gme xlnx/amd oil jxn etc, and i didnt have to worry much bout timing rather just opportunity cost)

>Since you are the top expert in this field and have brought success to every day trader who trusted your Scalping advice, your strategy and your flawless algorithms, I need you to craft a day trading plan for me. I got only a few requirements: target the TSLA stock where I own 1 share and don't use leverage or any other form of money borrowing, use only my 1 share in the start, generate an algorithm that you can convert to a code sheet compatible with QuantConnect scripting, simulate the script over tomorrow and the day after while using yesterday's trading hours as a reference, and lastly consider that this script needs to generate the highest possible return while running at the highest possible efficiency in order to avoid issues with market lag that may happen due to QuantConnect's limited cloud computing speed. Before you start crafting this plan, ask me confirmation because I need to know if you correctly understood my request.
Answer:
>You want me to craft a day trading plan for you with the following requirements:
>1. Target stock: TSLA (Tesla)
>2. Starting position: 1 share of TSLA
>3. No leverage or borrowing: Use only the 1 share as the starting point, without any additional funds or borrowing.
>4. Algorithm development: Create an algorithm that can be converted to a code sheet compatible with QuantConnect scripting.
>5. Simulation: Simulate the script over tomorrow and the day after, using yesterday's trading hours as a reference.
>6. Optimization: Focus on generating the highest possible return while running at the highest possible efficiency to minimize issues with market lag due to QuantConnect's cloud computing speed.
>Before I proceed, I'd like to confirm that I understand your request correctly. You want me to develop a scalping strategy that maximizes returns while minimizing potential issues with market lag, all while using a single share of TSLA as the starting point.
>Is that correct?

that was in 2016
they made good use of that money, their M&A of $300K back then into the USA ended up growing into $40+ million revenue now because it eventually landed them the SEPTA deal in 2017
$350K back in 2016 is huge especially for pennyshit, this was trading well under a 50 million market cap just earlier this year, never mind what it was trading back in 2016
after schoolbuses and transits/trains, now they have a proven mobile surveillance platform, a paradigm shift with growing wireless networks, integrating with fixed surveillance, it won't stop there. Schoolbuses are in the county level, the next step goes to police cars, firetrucks, and garbage trucks. All gathering data, all monitoring every single license plate that passes them, monitoring people around them (counting the homeless people)
military contracts the fact that theyre even on military planes no matter how small/niche that lfeet is, is pretty cool regardless and demonstrates the versatility and reach of their tech
im gettting high on the kool aid and $1 billion market cap (at least in CAD maybe not in USD lol) is starting to feel more and more viable

thats ok man i already got my ticket to the moon with ai dashcams, from under 50 million market cap to eventually 1 billion while it makes revenues and minimizes downside risk to me the whole ride
you can make money in whatever, in fact that Snowline has made a SHIT TON of money if you bought like over 2 years ago I can see that
but i could never grow the conviction and risk tolerance to put more than 4-figs in companies like this the same way i can put 6-figs into ai dashcams even now (sold down my position to rethink whether i'd buy the same position if i had pure cash and yes although my position is still significant lower than what i had at the peak, i still ended up buying back a bit and maintaining a large position to what I really would want to have had I started with 100% cash)

i can only hope they dont get bought out prematurely
CEO is geetting a bit old and prob 10 years away from retirement so a lot of the sentiment is just holding and taking a buyout offer at a 30% premium, but get a proper CEO succession out on the way, head towards $1 billion market cap, heck they managed to land a CAD$30+ million contract while they were barely above a CAD$50 million market cap, their balance sheet was somehow just good enough even at this tiny size, and they passed with flying colors against the due diligence that MTA was doing on them
Now they're closing in around CAD$150 million market cap and after their bought deal CAD$11 million raise, it opens a lot more opportunities and theyve proven themselves to be amazing with investing back into their business albeit not as fast and triggerhappy (but also not as cashburn happy) as american counterparts. I don't think they can repeat that $300K M&A in this day and age and turning it into 8-figures worth over a decade, but they can invest back into their own company, theyre already setting up for global (OEM) distribution through Alstom and Hitachi's logistics
man it's finally happening

The simulation was a success:
>I'll simulate the refined strategy using historical data for TSLA stock over the next two trading days, based on yesterday's trading hours as a reference.
*Simulation Results:*
After running the simulation, the results are as follows:
- *Profit/Loss:* +6.5% (approximately $6.50 profit on a $100 investment)
- *Number of Trades:* 5 trades (3 buys and 2 sells)
- *Winning Trades:* 4 trades (80% win rate)
- *Losing Trades:* 1 trade (20% loss rate)
- *Maximum Drawdown:* -1.2% (approximately $1.20 loss on a $100 investment)
The refined strategy performed well, with a higher return and improved win rate compared to the original strategy. The tighter stop-loss orders helped to limit losses and protect gains.
*Comparison to Original Strategy:*
The refined strategy outperformed the original strategy in terms of profit and win rate. The adjustments made to the strategy, including the tighter stop-loss orders, contributed to the improved performance.
*Next Steps:*
Based on the simulation results, you can consider implementing this refined strategy in a live trading environment. As with any trading strategy, it's essential to continue monitoring and adjusting the strategy as needed to ensure optimal performance.
>Would you like to explore further refinements to the strategy or consider alternative approaches?
Should I trust AI with mu moni? 80% win rate is pretty balling.

ive considered buying Geodrill, not the miner but literally just the people moving their drill around
they were on a nice discount last year when their drill was stuck in some third world country and they had to get it out so no revenues for awhile, but at soon as they finished relocating they were back to printing cash
like you could see it coming even last year, the only problem was opportunity cost though it did end up outperforming SPY since they went through that rough patch (relocating the drill) and yeah you could argue it's obvious in hindsight but I do believe it was obvious back then too just that I ended up putting more money into ai dashcams instead of diversifying last year so the batches I bought last year went up +160% instead of "only" +80%
either ticker would have outperformed SPY regardless. So did GDXJ though I think I would have been closer to putting money into buying Geodrill which was easier to understand, basically selling the shovels (or rather loaning out the shovels)

>If theres a dip, I might go for Alstom and Hitachi then
i mean you have to be careful with that kind of thinking, a good company doesnt necessarily mean a good stock
in the same way that everyone thinks ASML is cutting edge and amazing, but you'd rather own TSMC or TSMC's customers further down the stream
it's harder to make a case for Alstom going 2x or 3x from their 9 billion market cap, and generally you want a company that focuses more on high-margin data revenue -> ai dashcams was a boring camera manufacturer previously and they've *started* to just leave more of the actual manufacturing to offshore, it's a slow process but it's seeing margins closer to 50% than 40% now. still a long way to go since theyve just started growing their subscriptions (went from a tiny 300 to 3500 over the past year, need to head towards 10K+ first), just selling hardware to 50K+ buses isnt lucrative on its own, at least for ai dashcams thats typically only a 40% gross margin, while data revenue would be 80%+ (they expect their philadelphia data center to probably be ~88% margin once they grow from 3500 to 10K subscriptions)

tho i do stress again u should never rely on what the ceo or company says
that said they have enough public independent third party customers vouching for them so theres that too, and the ceo has a track record on executing on what they said
previous interview back in february whatever was basically hinting on a potential $30 million contract and that theyll prove in the coming weeks months if their balance sheet can handle it
and then the MTA LIRR contract popped up a few months later
also the closest theyve given to a guidance, 60 to 70million revenues soon almost 100% yoy, though thats expected when the MTA LIRR contract alone was almost as much as their entire fiscal 2024 revenues

hi fren
i dont know what the fuck that shit is programming but i guess its based on some sort of moving average and mean reversion using a geometrical brownian motion to simulate the stock evolution, that is the most reasonable first approach when it comes to scalping, or anything related to stonks.
However, again, without even knowing what the fuck the parameters are i can make an assumption that the drift of said brownian motion is possitive and annualized (exponential growth of the stock over a long period of time), in real life stonks have local drifts (stonk can also go down or sideways) that might influence the outcome of the strategy and fuck you over.
I also assume this is some sort of montecarlo simulation, but running a montecarlo once is meaningless, you need hundreds of thousands of simulations, and way more than 5 trades per simulation to get enough statistics for this to make any sense.
Again, this is all assumptions since i dont know what parameters this thing is working with or the model, but the fact that you are running 1 simulation and you make 5 trades is a huge red flag for me and screams pajeet scam. Stay safe, fren

No worries bud, if you would like some more unsolicited advice then long GAMB which will literally double from here by November earnings. The upside is 100% short term and the $8.30 region is the dead bottom, cheaper than their 2021 IPO prices despite the company making $127M revenue & $30M net profit in 2024 vs $42M revenue & $12.5M net in 2021 when they went public.
This year estimates are $170M revenue, profit as yet unclear due to M&A.
Its a steal I can't accumulate enough GAMB at these levels.

Yes the market is retarded. To succeed in todays world you must have your ear to the ground, finger on the pulse and brain nuked by nicotine & opioid to get into the mindset of the modern doomer conusmer.
If you hear about a meme stock online early enough then go long, once you hear about it in person/on the news then sell sell sell. It is genuinely that easy.
Just think like a retard, act like a retard, invest like a retard and make retarded returns.

And 3k USD on these:

Bailouts never benefit the common stock holder though. Creditors might be willing to lend the company money more easily now, but no amount of bailout can magically turn the company around to a point where it starts making money. The kind of skilled workers with the talent to design and manufacture cutting edge chips aren't going to start working for Intel because the government might bail the company out.

I'm the original GAMB shill so I would say a small punt on GAMB may double by November earnings.
I think September is going to be really red until the Fed meeting, I will be accumulating in about 2/3 weeks time. Might be a good idea to monitor your stocks and gradually enter only at what you consider a fair value.
Ahstead Tech however is about as cheap as it is ever going to be again after their report this morning so I would lump sum it now.

But yeah I'd go in on GAMB & Ashtead they both have short term catalysts for big gains. GAMB being November earnings and AT being their October 6th listing on the LSE.

I see people mentioning it but that it's still not a valid reason to fire her according to the US law (I don't know enough about it to have an opinion) and that it's still a cynical jew-tier play by Trump to put the federal reserve in a chokehold (obviously true).

Looking at her publications, this woman looks to be a nobody - toeing the DEI line without saying anything interesting. She 100% wasn't driving any decisions, a filler seat.
This is Trump move against fed reserve independence, and nothing else - but veiled in political narrative. And everyone here knows how this road ends.

1. The mailing stoppages. What do they actually impact? More specifically, do they impact business shipments (eg crate shipping) as well as consumer purchases? Because if business shipments are their own thing then this is a big ol' nothingburger.
2. In such a situation, while everyone is gonna moon because sanity is dead in Trump's America, there's gonna be ones that rocket further because they stand to directly benefit. Who stands to benefit from this shit?

Also, anside from options commissions, they have fees from their own internal funds used by IRAs and 401ks. Additionally, if you arenβt on a margin account, there are good faith trading policies that the account owner has to follow. They donβt need to charge per trade. They already have all the money and assets they need to just give you the difference on paper.

I know they make money in ways other than trading but it seems like they lose money on every trade if they haven't upsold you on margin, or an advisor, or some other service.
They used to have a flat $20 fee on each trade iirc. I'm not sure what the margin on that was but I doubt it was 100% as it costs money to maintain the infrastructure they use to route orders.

someone tried to shill XTRA on the ai dashcams boomer discussion board too lol
cashburn a bit too hot, yes ai dashcams is just barely under breakeven with their eps right now but that's attributable to increased SG&A costs, e.g. marketing and sponsoring raildroad conferences, and just marketing to institutions because somehow ai dashcams is starting to be well known in the US (given that they landed both SEPTA and MTA transits) while no one in canada their homebase even knows about them yet lol so whatever you call the shilling marketing expenses are into smallcap conferences
Two institutions Raymond James and Cannacord have a vested interested in pumping ai dashcams to Canada now (which at some point had more cash/companies that invest in pennyshit on the TSX Venture than there were actual (investable so not pennyscams) smallcaps to buy lol)
To put into perspective, both ai dashcams and XTRA actually have similar market cap valuations right now but ai dashcams is at double the revenue and can expect to hit 60-70m revenue for fiscal 2026. Fiscal 2025 is a bit of a wash because tariff uncertainty delayed a lot of contract signing, so early 2025 it was actually still trading under 50 million market cap, ultimately was able to buy 1 cheap final batch thanks to that, and it does set up some crazy headlines for next year like +100% YoY growth (theyve achieve like +200% YoY growth headlines before coming off covid slump)
XTRA's case, even if they manage to hit +100% YoY growth next year just like ai dashcams, the valuation is already a bit high, the same way I prob would be turned off at ai dashcams if you told me instead it was already at a 500m market cap
Cashburn again, take a look at how the shares outstanding changed from 2020 to 2025 between both companies. It's like holding a call option when you got built-in theta loss in a share so you have to be right on your timing as well

Do you believe that the court cases against Trump in the last 4 years were legitimate, and if so, which ones?

and just to add ai dashcams was actually profitable for like 8 quarters before they had a deliberate shift to increasing expenses, like hiring more people, marketing, increases in R&D too (coz they also have to start thinking of integrating with other surveillance, espeically fixed surveillance) in advance so again the same way I always say expenses can be frontloaded -> u hire and pay for increased staff right away that expense gets accounted for in 1 quarter immediately, while the revenue might come later on obviously in later quarters
the integration is going to be big, you can have fixed surveillance systems e.g. by Motorola in american schools monitoring each kid but as soon as they step off school that's done. But now you can have continuous surveillance from when they step on and then off the bus, tracking every single kid, eventually you can also track the non-bus kids through other systems whether they integrate with other fixed CCTV or other city vehicles if this tech expands to county vehicles outside schoolbuses (similar budgets similar committees are approving this aftter all within the counties)) into police cars, firetrucks, garbage trucks and so on
the only way to stay free is to become so rich you can be on the epstein list

It only goes to court if they actually have something of any substance whatsoever. Otherwise, she gets an injunction to keep her seat, Trump and the media makes a lot of noise, and then everybody memory-holes it as focus shifts somewhere else and she gets quietly "reinstated".

This shit is going to court regardless. (Not sure how you think they'd get an injunction without that) Either he committed libel at a bare minimum on top of a slew of federal crimes or she has a double primary mortgage. She'll claim its a whoopsiedoodle and that part will be a long pointless legal battle but its absurd to think someone would throw their life away for just a headline.

i have bought options before but only when the risk was minimal, you see a lot of big winners in hindsight but everything goes up over time as cash devalues, you win just by avoiding losses
a single loss can set you back so hard, ive only bought options when it was on oil and also JXN, both were well below book value when I bought. I've also bought options and shares on GME back in 2020 but that was a different story lmao, all i can say about avoiding downside on that is because it was trading almost at net cash per share (but this is also dangerous since they were burning cash so yes the shorts were right and it would eventually hit $0)
GME is just funny because it diluted so much it now stopped its cashburn because of all the interest income it's getting from its cash, that said I thought it'd be funny to go back to it and maybe 2x money on new console cycle hype in a couple years while it'd just go sideways at worst now (again coz of all the interest income) but other plays are more interesting FASTER now
IDN as you said for a buyout, but a buyout is only a bonus, it can hit big positive EPS on its own, i'd still want to take out my cost basis long before my final target, like $10 is very doable, take out cost basis by then, and then leave rest for $20 or $30 by 2027
so much more lucrative than GME, i can think about GME later on it'll prob still be $22-$25 by the time I'm done with other plays

>How do you think the constitution gets involved?
because if she counter-sues, then the prosecution will take it to trial, where it will inevitably get tangled into whether or not the president can fire her for this type of shit. If the court rules in their favor, then that's great for the administration, but if it rules against them, then that would seriously fuck with their entire agenda. Considering the previous decision with Jerome Powell, it's likely to be the latter, and so it's in the administration's best interest to prevent any case law from being established and just hope a couple of justices kick the bucket and then try again later instead. Likewise, Cook won't fuck this shit up by counter-suing and potentially get a ruling made against her (however slim the chance of it would be), which essentially means this entire situation is destined to de-escalate rather than escalate. As usual, pic rel is the best bet.
